Perth - West Australia

So, I had a fantastic week with my big sister Catherine in Perth and I was blessed by glorious weather, fantastic beaches, great food and all the beer I wanted - truly living the dream!

It was such fun to catch up with family, most of whom I had either never met or not seen for about 25 years and I loved their way of life - what a place to raise kids. Highlights included bell ringing in the bell tower in Perth - what a surreal experience with a genuinely mad campanologist of the old style English colonial variety - mad as a box of frogs! Beers and more beers and even a 'skimpy' bar (don't ask!)

BBQ for breakfast - what's not to love about that!
